Everyday people across Aotearoa are campaigning for a Living Wage
We’re in cities and towns all over Aotearoa, speaking up and raising public awareness and understanding of the issues facing low paid workers, and encouraging decision makers and employers to pay a Living Wage.
If you want to play a role in changing the lives of workers in your town, city, or around the country – join us.
Local Living Wage Alliances
We have alliances of faith, union, and community groups coming together across the country to win the Living Wage in their local communities
Local Living Wage Alliances
South Auckland Living Wage Network
The South Auckland network was launched midway through 2025 and is focused on organising among local faith, union, and community groups to stand with low-paid workers in the community and win a Living Wage. Key focuses of this group include organising in local government to ensure workers employed by council-controlled organisations are paid a Living Wage, and supporting the national schools campaign. To get involved please email our local organiser Geoffrey Tuita
Wellington Living Wage Alliance
The Wellington movement is welded together by the Member Organisations Council (MOC), which is made up of over 30 faith, union, and community organisations — all focused on creating a Living Wage City. The MOC meets quarterly and has an elected steering group that meets monthly to run the day-to-day organising of the movement. Key focuses have been on Resene Paints, Victoria University of Wellington, Local Government, Living Wage Schools and more. To find out more please contact our local organiser Finn Cordwell
